HOME
well we are home, but without the boys. that was one of the hardest things i have ever done. we said goodbye at the airport.....the kept saying "mommy come back....mommy come back" then i sent my children back to the orphan home....back to no running water, no electricity, malaria biting mosquitoes, one meal (if you call it that) a day....etc. i felt terrible...politics suck!!!!! i was very glad to see jennifer and ian. i missed them so much. i am ready to have all of my family at home. pray..pray..pray

The GOOD part about this is it is obvious you bonded with the boys, and they with you, in such a short period of time. Within hours, the love between the boys and their new parents was evident. It is pathetic the gov't is making you go BACK to the get them when they are now legally yours though. A flight BACK to Africa is so darn expensive and that is money that could be spent on the boys or the orphanage. Just be thankful everything "clicked" and praise God he matched you with the perfect children. They KNOW the orphanage is NOT their life now. Praying for peace and patience for all (me included!) Love you. Love Tim. Love Godfred. Love Joseph. Love Phillip (and Jenn and Ian!)
ReplyDeleteKathleen, my heart hurts for you as I read this! Praying for your boys to be reunited quickly. So thankful those sweet boys now have you and a wonderful home awaiting them. Keep me posted!
